Roadmap for the planned revision of Sustainable Use of Pesticides Directive published
The European Commission has published a combined roadmap for
the evaluation of the EU legislation on the sustainable use of
pesticides and an inception impact assessment for the possible revision
of this legislation. This initiative is one of the ambitious actions on
pesticides foreseen by the Farm to Fork strategy
responding to the commitment undertaken as part of the EU's Green Deal
to reduce the use and risk of chemical pesticides in order to address
important public concerns. Citizens, experts and stakeholders are
invited to give their feedback by 7 August 2020 on the combined roadmap
and inception impact assessment to help to define the further elements
of this planned initiative.
