In the past years, Eurostat has worked with partners in the European Statistical System
and stakeholders (European Central Bank, European Commission services
and European interest associations) on updating key European economic
classifications, the classification of economic activities (NACE) and the classification of products by activity (CPA), to reflect the considerable evolution of the EU economy over the past 15 years. (...)
