CoR - Ivan Žagar: European funds need good partnership between all levels of governance

At its 113th plenary session, the European Committee of the Regions adopted a report on the Outcome of the negotiations on the partnership agreements and operational programmes, presented by Ivan Žagar, Mayor of the Municipality of Slovenska Bistrica, Slovenia. The report assesses the agreed Partnership Agreements and Operational Programmes from the perspective of beneficiaries from regional and local authorities. It also calls for cohesion fund procedures to be simplified and administrative capacities strengthened. (...)
