(...) The EU-China Project on the Protection of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR2) recently published a new e-learning module on “Intellectual Property Rights Enforcement Mechanisms in the EU”. This module provides an overview on the enforcement mechanisms within the European Union, specifically with regard to civil and criminal actions, customs and Intellectual Property (IP) office procedures, as well as the Alternative Disputes Resolution systems. The module is especially useful for right holders who want to protect their IP rights efficiently and effectively in Europe, as well as those who may not fully understand of the importance of IP enforcement and what is at stake for a company.(...)
