(...) Digital privacy is an EU priority and an EU-funded team of researchers is working to better protect the privacy and identities of European citizens. The ABC4TRUST ('Attribute-based credentials for trust') project, funded under the 'Information and communication technologies' (ICT) Theme of the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7), is using privacy-enabling technology to bring this priority to fruition.
