Celebrating one single treaty system for international registration of trade marks: Algeria joins the Madrid Protocol | IPR Helpdesk

(...) With the signature of Algeria, all international registrations of trade marks will exclusively be governed by the Madrid Protocol, resulting simplification of filing and management processes of international registrations both for applicants and for the governing organization, WIPO.
The Madrid Protocol gives a trade mark owner the possibility to have his mark protected in several countries by simply filing one application, in one single office, in one language. (...)
